The game of Box Lacrosse puts a high amount of emphasis on players' stick skills. Tight enclosures help players acclimate their skills more efficiently. Players will learn motion offense, team defense, while refining the fundamentals of lacrosse. Goals will be 5x5 instead of the normal 6x6. This is to improve shooters' accuracy, which will ultimately translate to improvement for Field Lacrosse in the Spring Season. Box Lacrosse is the National Spring Sport in Canada. Canadian players start Box Lacrosse as young as Kindergarten!
Canadians participating in NCAA Lacrosse has jumped up 40%. If it works for them, why can't it work for us?
